Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Chief Martin McParland of the Rockaway Township Police Department jointly announce that an investigation is currently underway involving an incident which occurred early this morning, Oct. 23, on Green Pond Road, Rockaway Township.
At about 6 a.m., officers from the Rockaway Township Police were dispatched to the area near Green Pond Road on a report of an incident.
One injured male was found who appeared to have been struck by an unknown vehicle. He was transported to St. Clare's Dover Campus hospital.
This investigation is in its preliminary stages and no further details are available at this time.
