Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp today announced there has been a modification to the bail conditions that had been set for defendant Andrew Pfitzenmayer, 26, of Peapack, who was arrested on July 29 on charges of unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of hollow point bullets in connection with an incident at the Headquarters Plaza complex in Morristown.

The agreement further requires that the professional conducting the psychological evaluation must be approved by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and further author a report with findings that are to be provided to the court and all parties involved in the legal proceeding.
The consent order modifying the bail conditions was signed by Superior Court Judge Stephen J. Taylor.
On July 30, 2015, Prosecutor Knapp and Morristown Police Chief Peter Demnitz announced the arrest of Pfitzenmayer.
On July 29, at about 10 a.m., Morristown Police responded to the Headquarter’s Plaza building, located at 19 Speedwell Avenue, regarding a report of a man acting suspiciously. The man, identified as Pfitzenmayer, was in possession of weapons and placed under arrest.
Further investigation resulted in charges of unlawful possession of weapons related to the possession of the two Glock 9MM handguns, as well as possession of hollow-point ammunition.
